Decentral Integration Modules & PCBs

Module drives are board-level and embedded form factors designed to integrate seamlessly into your machine design. They deliver full servo performance while giving OEMs flexibility in packaging, connectors and thermal management concepts. They are particularly suitable when cabinet space is limited, when electronics need to be located close to the mechanics, or when the drive must be integrated into a larger control unit instead of being mounted as a standalone enclosure. Because these drives are designed for embedded integration, they support design approaches such as direct heat dissipation to a chassis or cold plate, short power and feedback cables, and compact multi-axis layouts. This integration-focused design can also simplify system wiring and improve serviceability when the drive is part of a standardized subassembly that can be replaced as a single unit. This module category also includes micro-module variants, typically 64 × 41 × 16.5 mm, offered within selected product families for especially high-density layouts. Where available, micro-modules provide a repeatable footprint that makes it easier to scale designs across multiple axes while maintaining the same integration philosophy.

Accelnet Module (Servo)

Choose between EtherCAT and CANopen models. Both options provide an optimal cost per node.

AccelnetPLUS sets a new performance standard for industrial modules. This unique product is available in both EtherCAT and CANopen versions. Both models offer an excellent cost-benefit ratio per node.

A wide selection of integrated absolute encoder interfaces provides outstanding versatility, including BiSS, SSI, Absolute A and EnDat. High-resolution current loops enable AccelnetPLUS to meet the requirements of even the most demanding applications, while Safe Torque Off functionality, STO, helps reduce system costs in safety-critical applications.

Argus Module (Servo)

The Argus product line was developed to set new standards in performance, connectivity and flexibility.

The Argus GPM defines new standards in these areas. It operates as a CAN node using the CANopen DSP-402 protocol for motion-control devices. Users benefit from a wide range of supported modes, including Profile Position, Velocity and Torque, Interpolated Position Mode, PVT, and Homing.

Various encoders are also supported. In addition, both isolated and high-speed non-isolated I/Os can be used. In safety-critical applications, redundant power-stage inputs provide added reliability.
