MACCON direct-drive linear motor stages deliver outstanding performance in high-speed material handling applications.

Linear motor stages with voice coil motors are designed without intermediate transmission mechanisms. The modules consist of guide elements, a voice coil motor, encoder feedback and a cover.
The advantages of a linear motor stage with voice coil drive include:
Voice coil stages are ideal for high-speed machines such as pick-and-place systems, inspection systems, dispensing systems, test equipment and any other material handling or general industrial application where accuracy is critical, including printing, laser marking, machining and spot welding.
Voice coil stages meet a wide range of requirements in terms of size, force and stroke length. These durable systems are manufactured from high-strength extruded aluminum and are designed for easy installation.
Voice Coil Stage with Cross-Roller Guide
Designed for medium-payload applications that require high motion frequency, XMGV voice coil stages provide smooth motion – even at low speeds – as well as a cross-roller guide for high stiffness, precision and repeatability.

Our partner Haydon Kerk offers both motorized and non-motorized linear rails, guides and splines that provide improved system stability, high positioning accuracy, low friction and long service life for a wide range of linear motion applications.

Ball Guide Rail Systems
The BGS linear rail combines multiple technologies in a single integrated linear motion platform. The system offers excellent load capacity and is designed for both standard and overhung loads. Its high roll, pitch, and yaw moment capacity ensures excellent accuracy and repeatability, even in applications with substantial offset loading.
The lead screw drives a machined aluminum carriage mounted on a precision stainless-steel ball rail guide, resulting in a rigid and smooth-running drive system. The BGS linear rail platform also features a wear-compensating, backlash-free carriage. The lead screw is protected by a Black Ice® TFE coating, providing durable, wear-resistant dry lubrication.
Combined with an IDEA drive, the system integrates Haydon’s hybrid linear actuator technology with a fully programmable, integrated stepper motor drive. By combining these technologies in a single pre-assembled unit, Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions simplifies system integration for OEMs and end users.
This complete solution eliminates the need to convert rotary motion into linear motion, simplifies product development, and reduces the customer’s total system costs.

MiniStage MLX Series– NEW!
The MiniStage combines proven HKP hybrid actuator and lead screw technology with the guidance and load-bearing capabilities of a recirculating ball profile rail. The profile rail provides high load capacity, long service life with maintenance-free operation, and precise guidance.
The direct integration of the lead screw into the hybrid stepper motor, without the need for a coupling, enables the shortest possible overall product length. The specially developed drive thread and close integration into the moving carriage result in an overall height of just 15 mm.
MiniStage is supplied as a fully assembled and tested solution from a single source. This saves valuable time and costs, reduces supply chain risks and effort, and allows customers to focus on developing their end product.

MiniSlide™ MSA Series
The compact MiniSlides reduce engineering and design effort. They are ideal for smaller laboratory equipment, medical technology, and automation applications. MiniSlides™ offer a wide range of configuration options, including two motor options, nine different lead screw options, four lubrication options, and a choice of imperial or metric standards.
