IMA Linear Servo Actuators

The IMA servo linear actuator features a unique integrated servo motor design.
The IMA is an integrated linear servo actuator in a compact, robust housing. IMA servo linear actuators are available with ball screw or roller screw configurations and provide forces of up to 30.6 kN, even in high-duty-cycle applications. The IMA uses a standard servo motor that is available with many different feedback types. A food-grade coating is available for sanitary applications. Ideal for dynamic applications or applications in which the actuator is exposed to high levels of shock and vibration. Convenient support is available for integrating drives from other manufacturers.

IMA-S Stainless Steel Servo Motor Actuator

Developed for the most demanding food and beverage applications
The IMA-S is a hygienically designed, integrated electric servo actuator for the food and beverage industry. The IP69K hygienic design features 316 stainless steel construction as well as hygienic mounting and cable grips, enabling open machine design and effective cleaning in place. The product line also includes the IMA-SA model, which features an internal anti-rotation mechanism. This eliminates the need for an external guide mechanism, making it an ideal actuator for applications such as volumetric filling and pumping. Ideal for dynamic applications or applications in which the actuator is exposed to high levels of shock and vibration. Convenient support is available for integrating drives from other manufacturers.

Food-grade IMA servo actuators feature a white epoxy coating as well as food-grade lubricants and are available with stainless steel fasteners, rods and rod ends. They feature the same integrated servo motor design as the IMA linear servo actuators, but with a more compact footprint. Food-grade IMA servo actuators are available with ball screw or roller screw configurations and provide forces of up to 30.6 kN, even in high-duty-cycle applications. The standard servo motor is available with many feedback types and can be integrated with most servo drives. Ideal for dynamic applications or applications in which the actuator is exposed to high levels of shock and vibration. Convenient support is available for integrating drives from other manufacturers.
