Our iron-core and ironless rotary stages are based on direct-drive brushless motor technology. These compact units provide high torque and low-cogging or zero-cogging behavior.
Both iron-core and ironless rotary stages feature a thin, compact design – including a pancake-style variant – making them ideal for applications with limited installation space.
Most models are fully integrated with an encoder, precision bearing and housing. Additional features include high slot-fill factors, windings for low and high speeds, large central apertures and precise referencing via index pulse.
Our most popular rotary motor, the AXD Series, features a thin, compact pancake design and delivers high peak and continuous torque despite its relatively small form factor.
Compared with competing products, the AXD Series clearly stands out. Another key feature of the AXD Series is its high-resolution optical encoder feedback, which ensures exceptional precision and repeatability.
Similar to the ACD Series, the AXM motor series features an ironless design and is completely cogging-free.
This motor is characterized by its compact design, making it ideal for applications with specific height requirements.

ACW Series
With its cogging-free design and flat form factor, the ACW Series features a high-resolution encoder and a low-profile cross-roller bearing.
Together, these features make it our highest-performing motor in terms of repeatability and exceptionally smooth motion.
The ACD Series ironless rotary motors are designed for both low-speed and high-speed applications.
They offer zero-cogging behavior, high-resolution optical encoder feedback and low speed ripple in the low-speed range.
