LINEAR SOLENOIDS / ROTARY SOLENOIDS
MACCON offers a great variety of solenoid actuators including rotary solenoids, linear solenoids, open frame type solenoids both as simple on/off type actuators, as latching solenoids and bistable solenoids.
Our solenoids are „high performance“-products designed for industrial applications although in principle they are simple. In case you cannot find the right product for your application within our standard products we are happy to adapt existing designs with respect to electrical or mechanical properties or develop completely new products for you.
We differentiate the following main product groups for our solenoid actuators:
rotary solenoids R-series: rotary on/off type actuators, normally with return spring - bistable rotary solenoids BRS-series: bistable rotary actuators: holding torque with no current applied!
- linear push/pull type solenoids PP-series: robust linear on/off type actuators; optimised for high holding force
- linear tubular solenoids T-series: robust linear on/off type actuators; optimised for long stroke
- linear open frame type solenoids SK/RD/TO-series: linear on/off type actuators in cost-effective open frame version
- linear latching solenoids SH1(2)LC/R1L/T1(2)L/TK2L-series: linear latching type actuators in cost-effective open frame version - also as bistable actuators
- linear 3-position solenoids C3PF/C3PT-series: linear on/off type actuators with 3 positions as cost-effective open frame version or as tubular version
For all these actuators a so called 
Pick&Hold-circuit may be a good additional component. Pick&Hold-circuits supply a higher peak current - and therefore force - for a limited time. In some applications this allows for a smaller actuator which might help to overcome size and weight constraints.
