EC WRAP SPRING CLUTCHES
Wrap spring clutches are used in applications where several axis need to be engaged/disengaged and synchronised to a rotating main drive axis. By using gears also other speeds can be realised. Typical examples for applications are paper transportation in printers, copiers or money handling and money sorting equipment.
To power up the clutch only very little power of a few watts is necessary. EC series wrap spring clutches are powered from a 12 or 24Vdc power supply.
