SERVOAMPLIFIER
With the term servo amplifier we normally mean a classical analog amplifier with +/-10V command used in a central control architecture. Of course there is no sharp boarder to the modern digital amplifiers any more, but still there are a few modern analog amplifier families dedicated for central control architecture:
SWM: the SWM is something special: a low voltage / high current amplifier, mainly used in mobile (battery powered) applications; its flexible control architecture made it a very successful product and has lead to new versions with higher supply voltages up to 650Vdc for demanding applications
LWM: the LWM uses the same control board as the SWM, but uses a linear (non switching) power stage! This is the right product for nanometer positioning at low power (12 to 60Vdc, up to 2.5Arms continuous).
7225xx: the analog amplifiers of the 7225xx family use external commutation commands, which means the controller supplies two analog phase current command as +/-10V signals; versions with AC power and DC power are available, DC versions also available as dual or triple axis versions.
Accelus: digital servo amplifier for BLDC-motors; DC-supply; analog command; RS-232 interface for setup; also as PCB card format
Bantam / 503 / 5xx4AC: - Bantam is a new digital servo amplifier as module (parameter setting in factory); +/-10V current command ; 18 - 90Vdc, up to 10A cont.
- 503 is a classical analog amplifier with tachometer feedback for BLDC motors with six-step commutation and +/-10V current command at 18 to 55Vdc and 5Adc continuous
- 5xx4AC are classical analog amplifier in torque or velocity mode for BLDC motors (block commutation) with +/-10V command at 100 - 240Vac and 10 to 15A cont
Junus: digital servo amplifier for brushed DC-motors; DC-supply 20 - 180V, analog command; RS-232 for setup.
4xx(CE): the 4xx are classical analog amplifiers for brushed DC motors with +/-10V current command and tachometer feedback or IxR-compensation; operation at 24 to 225Vdc and up to 15A continuous.
